UNCW Continuing & Professional Education offers established professional assessments to support individual, leadership, and team development. Assessments may be offered independently or incorporated into customized workshops and development programs based on organizational needs.
Assessments
CliftonStrengths® — Strengths Development
CliftonStrengths®, developed by Gallup, is a strengths-based assessment designed to help individuals identify and understand their natural patterns of talent and consider how those talents can be applied to personal and professional development. It can also support teams and managers in understanding and leveraging individual strengths to enhance collaboration and performance. CliftonStrengths may be paired with customized individual, team, or leadership development workshops.

EQ-i 2.0® — Emotional Intelligence:
The EQ-i 2.0®, developed by MHS, is an emotional intelligence assessment that provides insight into how individuals understand and manage emotions in themselves and others. The assessment can support leadership development, team effectiveness, coaching, and workplace performance and may be incorporated into customized development workshops.

Forté® — Communication & Interpersonal Effectiveness
The Forté® Communication System, developed by The Forté Institute, focuses on understanding individual communication styles and how people interact with others. Forté insights can support stronger communication, collaboration, interpersonal relationships, and team effectiveness. The assessment may be incorporated into customized workshops and team-development experiences based on organizational needs.
