Brummitt Talks Protestant Relics On Religion Podcast
Edward Blum, Professor of History at San Diego State University, interviews Dr. Jamie L. Brummitt on how new book Protestant Relics in Early America published with Oxford University Press on the "New Books in Revolutionary America" podcast.
Diana Heath, professor of religion, published "The Others: UFOs, AI, and the Secret Forces Guiding Human Destiny" in July 2026 and the book quickly made the New York Times Best Seller list. In it, she explores alleged contact between human and nonhuman intelligences ― some framed as angels, others as UFOs/UAP ― interwoven with the rise of artificial intelligence and the dream of immortality. Writing as D. W. Pasulka, she examines the science of life extension and the beliefs of people who have experiences of UFOs. She unveils a hidden architecture of belief and influence―one in which human consciousness is being reimagined and extended.
